Wound Care

Wound Care is an area of medicine that consist mostly of hard-to-heal wounds and non-healing wounds. Without proper care, a wound can develop serious infections. Wound Care treatment is an important process to avoid serious complications including amputations.

Our wound care team here at SCH takes a comprehensive approach, this includes coordinating traditional and advanced therapies that aid and accelerate the healing process.

Wound Care Treatment:

  • Bone infection (osteomyelitis)
  • Compromised skin graft or flap
  • Crush injuries
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Non-healing, post-surgical wounds
  • Pressure injuries/ulcers
