Art Contest

Sheridan Community Hospital is looking for logo art submissions open to K-12 students in Montcalm County. Submissions can be sent via email to communityrelations@sheridanhospital.com or dropped off at the hospital registration desk. The deadline to submit a design is May 17th, and winners will be displayed at Sheridan Springfest.

The theme is “Rural Health”, and there will be 3 different age groups able to win (K-4), (5-8), and (9-12). Each age group will have 1st and 2nd place but only first place will be displayed. Each submission must include the hospital logo and must be original artwork without any copyrighted elements.

Rules:

1 submission per person
Artwork may not exceed 8.5"x11"
SCH logo must be included
Submissions must be in by May 17th
Rural Health is the theme
No copyrighted elements
Open to all students attending a public, private, religious, or homeschool located in Montcalm County
Prizes will be awarded to 1st & 2nd place

Art Festival

Local Artists are welcome to participate in a small Art Festival. If you do not want to participate in the logo contest please feel free to bring your artwork to a local business (Sidney State Bank & USPS) to be displayed. It is open to all ages and we only ask that artwork does not exceed 20"x28" and it can be hung up for display. Artwork must be brought in the first week of May and taken down after Springfest Weekend during regular business hours.

Springfest 5K Run/Walk

This year marks our 10th Annual Sheridan Springfest 5K Run/Walk. It will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at the Sheridan Community Center. Registration will be open from 7:00am to 8:15am, with the race starting at 8:30am.
