Sheridan Community Hospital’s Specialty Clinic physicians provide clinic visits and surgical services monthly. We make it more convenient and affordable for our patients to access specialty services in the local community.

Gastroenterology

Gastroenterology
Treats problems of the digestive tract which includes disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, rectum, liver, gallbladder and pancreas. Included is a wide spectrum of disorders ranging from acute diseases such as gastroenteritis and traveler’s diarrhea, to the more chronic such as peptic ulcer disease, hepatitis, ulcerative colitis, gallbladder disease, cancers and polyps of the colon.

Providing a wide range of surgical procedures, including hernia repair, colonoscopies, gallbladder removal, breast biopsies, carpal tunnel release, endoscopes, vasectomies, skin cancer removal, laceration repair and removal of lumps.

Ophthalmology

Ophthalmology
Provides patients with the best eye care through diagnosis and treatment of medical disease. Every person should have periodic and thorough eye examinations, as part of routine primary care. This is especially important because many eye diseases cause little or no pain and if left untreated, can lead to blindness.

Podiatry
Treats issues in the foot, ankle, and lower leg. Specializing in a range of services including bunions, hammertoes, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, poor circulation, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, diabetic foot care, and arthritic foot and ankle care.

Urology

Urology
Treats diseases of the male and female urinary tract (kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra). Including a wide spectrum of services including bladder infections, kidney stones, endoscopies, enlarged prostates, vasectomies, prostate screenings and men’s health.

Vascular
Providing comprehensive vascular treatment services, including open and minimally invasive surgeries, cosmetic and therapeutic vein care. Treating a wide variety of vascular conditions with surgical and minimally invasive techniques, including arterial aneurysms and obstructions, along with office-based, minimally invasive vein procedures.

Wound Care
Wound care and treatment is an important process to avoid serious complications. Without proper care, a wound can turn into serious infections such as cellulitis or sepsis. Helping to heal wounds, prevent lower limb loss, and optimize outcomes for patients.

SURGICAL SERVICES

Wound Care

Surgical services are provided using board certified surgeons along with various physician specialists. We offer a complete continuum of patient care services to meet each patient's individual need: pre-admission services, same day or short stay surgeries, post-anesthesia care, and after-care phone check-ins. Our team of CRNAs, RNs, STs, FAs, and central supply personnel is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care services.
