Purchasing Coordinator


Full-Time Position

Department: Purchasing

Hours: Flexible working hours to meet the needs of the hospital

Special Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Previous Hospital Experience Preferred

Description: Candidate must have good communication and computer skills, efficient with Word and Excel, knowledge of medical supplies/products, and experience with supply and inventory. The Candidate must also be very organized, self-motivated, and be able to work independently while also being a team player.

OTHER SKILLS:
Must consistently stay aware of the needs of the hospital and stick to a very structured ordering process.

The job duties include:
1. Monitor/control stock levels
2. Monitor/inventory supplies
3. Communicate with supplier representatives
4. Accept and process orders
5. Deliver supplies to departments
6. Monitor supply cost changes
7. Process the interoffice mail
8. Receive/ship UPS/Fed EX
9. Control/Maintain the electronic materials management system
10.All other duties assigned by direct supervisor

Patient Access Clerk - Part Time


Part-Time Position

Department: Registration

Hours: Varies

Special Training: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Computer skills and great customer services skills are a must. BCLS Training a plus.

Description: Will work Holidays, weekends, and occasionally other shifts as needed. This person must be flexible to work the majority of the time alone. Answering the switchboard and registering patients. This position requires an individual that is organized, can prioritize, and is dedicated. Great customer service is a must for this position. Must also have completed at least one computer skills program or have worked with computers for a minimum of two years.

OTHER:  Must be flexible, able to do a multiple array of tasks. Must be dependable. Must have good computer skills and great communication skills. Must be able to work with very little supervision. Must be able to adapt to all three shifts as needed.  Must be flexible and available to work where needed.
