Sheridan Community Hospital’s Diagnostic Imaging Department is able to treat a wide range of medical conditions and assist in the diagnosis of many more. Our talented team of ARRT-registered technologists and board certified radiologists are dedicated to providing the best patient experience throughout the entire treatment process.
Diagnostic imaging allows physicians to view the inside of your body to help them find any indications of a health condition. Some machines and methods can produce pictures of the activities and structures inside your body. Your doctor will decide which medical imaging tests they will need to use based on the body part they are evaluating and your symptoms.
Diagnostic imaging include a variety of non-invasive methods of looking inside the body to help determine the causes of an injury or an illness, and to confirm a diagnosis. It is also used to see how well your body is responding to a treatment for an illness or a fracture.
