

Every August SCH partners with three other area hospitals to host a Summer Dance Party that includes a spectacular stage show and dance floor. This fund-raising event is held at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant and has become a very popular event in the eyes of the 2-3 thousand who attend each year. You can help by becoming a Corporate Table Sponsor, purchasing general admission tickets or simply giving a donation. Proceeds support future medical equipment purchases.

The first Friday in November, SCH sponsors a “fun-themed” Silent & Live Auction fund-raiser. Around 160 community members, SCH staff, physicians, and volunteers attend each year. The event raises between $16,000-$18,000 with the proceeds added to the Tree of Lights campaign. You can help by becoming a Corporate Sponsor, donating auction items or purchasing tickets and attending the event.


SCH’s Tree of Lights campaign is 14 years old including 2007. Since its inception in 1994, it has raised an amazing $280,894 for medical equipment and enhancement of services at Sheridan Community Hospital or its hospital-owned locations. It has also raised spirits while enhancing the holiday season with the display of Christmas lights covering evergreen trees in the Hospital’s front lawn and several large wooden trees adorning the walls and halls at SCH.
